At iCanDeliver, where we connect carriers and cargo owners at our digital platform via a unique algorithm, we’re looking for an experienced Sales Director Europe to develop, manage and optimize our Sales strategy within our continuously growing international network of hundreds of European carriers and cargo owners.

AS PART OF THE MANAGEMENT TEAM OF ICANDELIVER 

With an entrepreneurial mind set, you’ll lead your team of Country Sales managers in Europe. With passion, dedication and devotion you’ll develop and execute your innovative Sales strategy and operational Sales plan. Together with your team you’ll be fully responsible to generate new business. 

As we are a start up the ideal Sales candidate knows how to approach both his team and his customers with a hunter/farmer mentality. In addition you’re also pro-active, eager, a self-starter, knows ins and outs of Sales and has excellent communications skills.

Your Responsibilities 
As Sales Director Europe you’ll lead your own hired team of Country Managers to execute the Sales strategy. You are the Business owner of the Sales department which needs to be set up from scratch. You’ll be tasked to help drive the development of iCanDeliver and rapidly grow the customer industry of our business by:

  • Developing and execute annual Sales strategy;
  • Recruiting, coaching and leading the Sales team and utilizing the best strength of every team members;
  • Setting clear and motivational goals/targets for the European Sales team;
  • Developing bonus structure;
  • Hunting new business and maintaining existing customers;
  • Analysing market opportunities;
  • Forecasting budgets and targets.

As candidate you have

  • +10 years of (B2B) sales experience in direct management and sales leadership, including building and managing multiple teams;
  • Entrepreneurial and ‘out of the box’ mindset;
  • Proven people manager and team builder with references;
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
